Case Study

Objectives

  • Coach the CEO in expanding his leadership, effectiveness, and managerial abilities.
  • Coach the Group Vice-President to become COO
  • Reinvigorate employee morale and create “independently responsible visionary leaders.”
  • Create the senior leadership as a team of one and raise productivity to a new level.

Coaching Approach

Using individual and group coaching, the senior leadership team distinguished the blame and distrust that existed in their culture and was then able to shift it to one of responsibility and integrity.

They distinguished the cost to the company and themselves of their ‘do it alone’ approach and were able to implement open and honest communication to illicit trust and support.

They achieved a high level of integrity and began to support and hold each other to account for results. They transformed themselves into becoming “independently responsible visionary leaders” by applying the tools, management training and new ways of operating acquired during individual and group coaching. The executives of HPTi have been using individual coaching to reach new levels of mastery since 2001.
